What is a TEN's and why do I need one?
- A Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Simulation (TENS) is a method of pain relief, great for use in labour.
- The pulses from a TENS machine
- prevent pain signals from reaching the brain
- The pulses stimulate a release of endorphins - natures own, feel-good hormone, said to be 20-40 times stronger than morphine!
- It helps you feel in control of your labour by having control over your TENS machine with each contraction
- TENS are very popular in labour and have no adverse affects on mother or baby.
- Hire period is from 36 weeks to 42 weeks, price is for hire period.
