Meet Sahara

Hi I'm Sahara, and I'm here to support you through any breastfeeding difficulties and birth related trauma. I believe in a hands off, mother-baby led approach. Supporting you, informing you and empowering you, on your postpartum journey. 

I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Registered Midwife and Mama to three. 

Located in Seaford, Victoria, I provide services to all of Southeast Melbourne, Bayside and the Mornington Peninsula area. Offering in home or zoom lactation consultations and birth debriefs. 

I have over eight years experience caring for mothers and babies across all areas of midwifery. This has provided me with extensive knowledge. Enabling me to guide you and empower you, on your breastfeeding journey. 

My goal is to educate you so you are fully informed as a mother. I believe knowledge and confidence is power and I believe all women should feel empowered and supported in motherhood. 

I offer antenatal breastfeeding education and postnatal breastfeeding support, for all ages, from newborn to toddlers. I can help you with a range of breastfeeding issues such as nipple pain/damage, attachment issues, supply issues, weight loss, engorgement, mastitis, breast refusal and so much more. 

My holistic approach means that I focus on developing a personal relationship with each individual client and their baby. Developing this understanding and relationship means I am able to treat you appropriately to your unique needs, as a duo. 

My birth debrief services are also uniquely moulded to your individuals needs, whether I see you antenatally or postnatally. It is a chance for your story to be heard, have your feelings validated, have any unanswered questions answered and feel supported. My goal is to help guide you through your trauma and start your journey of healing, ultimately taking back your power.  

My aim is to empower all mama's and give them the confidence and support they deserve.
